Newcastle has a history for hard rock talent. From The Animals to The Tygers Of Pan Tang, AC/DC’s Brian Johnson to Dire Straits’ Mark Knopfler, the city famous for football and Brown Ale has always boasted a heaving underbelly of guitar-based grit. Now you can add Fables Last Stand to that heady mix of ear-blasting brilliance. Born out of a love for GNR, Led Zep and the Crue, these Geordie kings of bar room sleaze bring back classic rock with a menacingly modern twist. Fresh from a spell in Canada recording with legendary producer Mike Fraser (Aerosmith, GNR, Biffy Clyro, Metallica, Led Zep) the boys are on a mission to reclaim Britain’s rock heartland and blaze a trail across Europe. Experience supporting The Wildhearts, Steven Adler and The Quireboys has given Roachie and the band an appetite for worldwide destruction.
