Biography
DIABLO formed in 2005 to play the compositions of their singer / songwriter Davy Peckett from Gateshead. The band consists of: Davy (vocals / guitar / keyboard); Paul McMullen (lead guitar / vocals); Steve Lodge (bass guitar / vocals) and Dave Peckett (drums / vocals). The boys play in and around the North East, and last year had an excellent response to their demo CD, leading to them recording their 14-track debut album “A Violet Scent Of Rose”, here in Newcastle. Although DIABLO's main thrust is original songs, the band’s highly energised live shows do mix in current classics by bands like The Stereophonics, Green Day, Muse and The Killers. This year they headline the Allendale Festival in Northumberland, (for the third time) and they opened 2007’s “Stormin’ The Castle” Rally in Witton le Wear in August.Photos
