Custodian are a band of many facets and extremes and can guarantee that you've never quite heard anything like them before. With the varied ages of the band members covering two generations comes a wide range of influences and viewpoints. Musically, Custodian take the best of what flows through classic rock, prog-rock and metal (with a little bit of funk and blues thrown in for good measure) and take them to levels that, in this age of one-dimensionsal music, not many bands dare. From all out groove metal, spaced out prog rock epics, melodic hard rock, instrumental tech riffery to forward looking prog-metal storytelling with a message Custodian span the ages of great rock and metal, push their instruments to their extremes and mix it all up with a structured abandon and a very individual but recognisable sound of their own. As a band that works together on every aspect of their music, Custodian gets input from every band member to ensure that musical quality control and lyrical integrity remains at the highest level possible. With over an hour and a half's worth of original material (in addition to some covers that reflect their own wide range of sounds and styles; Dam that River by Alice in Chains/Down with the sickness by Disturbed/Zombie by the Cranberries and Toxicity by System of a Down) Custodian can structure their set to cover any timescale and any occasion. Custodian are: Danny Porter (Vocals) Stuart Watson (Guitar) Colin Smith (Guitar) Richard Garbutt (Bass/Vocals)
Daniel Smith (Drums/Backing Vocals)
