Lou And Pete

Biography

Male / Female harmony vocal and acoustic duo. We have played music together since 1984, married since 1987. Playing as Lou and Pete since 1997, we have been fortunate enough to travel throughout the UK on occasions, but play mainly between the North East (our home is North Shields), Northumberland, and the Lake District.

We play a mix of genres, and were once reviewed as having more styles than a street full of hair dressers (which we took as a compliment!)

We concentrate on harmony vocals and acoustic guitar, playing a range of music from the 60's to the present day including artists such as Carol King, Doobie Brothers, Crosby Stills and Nash, No Doubt, Sheryl Crow, Isley Brothers, Lindisfarne and much more. We often can invite one or more friends along such as Lucy on flute, Andy on percussion and Andrew the mad mandolin-ist. We hope to shortly record a cd of original material which we will incorporate into the act.

We have professional equipment, and various lighting gear, and are fully self contained.

Whilst being serious about what we do, we don't take ourselves too seriously. We enjoy a gig, a pint, and a bit of banter. Hope to see you soon.
